The Keepsake Wine Glass
Engraving captures lines, not shading or colour — so line drawings and handwriting work beautifully. Here's how to give us the cleanest result:
The essentials
- Line art only. Handwriting, signatures, line drawings and doodles are perfect. Photographs, shaded artwork, and colour fills can't be reproduced.
- Dark ink on a light background. Black or dark ink on white or pale paper gives the crispest engraving.
- A clear, flat image. Scan your note if you can, or photograph it straight-on in good light with no shadows across the page.
- Accepted files: JPG, PNG, SVG, AI or PDF. The higher the resolution, the better.
A few things to know
- Very fine or faint lines may not carry through. Tiny or lightly-pencilled details can soften once etched — bolder, clearer marks reproduce best.
- We engrave what we see. Most faint lined paper is easy for us to remove, but plain white paper will have the best results.
- We'll send a proof. You'll approve a digital preview before we engrave, so there are no surprises.
- Please upload only artwork you own or have permission to use.
Due to the complexity of engraving a custom design, please expect orders to be dispatched in 7-10 business days.
Introducing the Keepsake Wine Glass, a timeless way to keep the handwriting you'd never want to lose. Engraved onto our signature wine glasses, it holds a note written in a single moment across years of evenings to come.
Each glass is personalised with your own note. Send us a scan or photo of the handwriting — a message, a signature, a child's drawing — and we'll etch it into the glass, exactly as it was written. Choose between our classic Margeaux or the sculptural Salome wine glass.
Each glass comes in a signature Mon Verre satin bag and gift box.
A short note: for larger images or text, select Salome Wine Glass for best results.
